The Game Village Bingo birthday party ends soon

With Game Village bingo going crazy throughout the month due to the celebration of its 2nd birthday, this has been a top hotspot for exciting bingo games and boosted jackpots all month long.

Next Monday it’s already June, and although I’m sure there’ll be another month of great promotions, it won’t be the same as this celebratory month at Game Village bingo. So I’d thoroughly recommend popping into Game Village Bingo this weekend and making the most of the last few days of the mega birthday bash bingo games while you can.

The evenings is when the online bingo action really spices up at Game Village bingo, every night at 10pm the special Birthday Bingo Hour kicks off. During these 60 minutes, all bingo balls that have a #2 in them are stuffed with extra goodies and cash prizes.

So if you win a bingo on bingo ball #22 (May 22 is the Game Village Bingo actual birthday) you’ll win not only the game jackpot, but an extra cash prize of £222!

Also any bingo that you win where the last ball has a number 2 in it means your neighbours in the game get £2 worth of free bingo cards for the very next game - an excellent way to make loads of new friends while you play online bingo!

Finally there’s a late night bingo game scheduled for 11.30pm every night which is the Birthday Hot Balls game with a cool £2,222 jackpot waiting to be scooped up nightly. Ideal for night owls and bingo enthusiasts looking for a juicy bundle of cash to party the weekend away!

I’ll definitely be wandering around the virtual bingo village these next few days to make the most of the May birthday bash bingo promotions and grabbing a few extra free online bingo games while I can, and I can’t wait to see what goodies will be up for grabs next month too!

2nd Birthday of Game Village

Game Village Bingo was two on Friday! A truly bombastic weekend had awaited all Game Villagers as they rolled out the red carpets and celebrated the happy event with a ginormous online bingo party to remember.

Anything that has a #2 in it was special, be it £22 extra jackpots on Dingo games, £222 extra prizes if you bingo on#22, not to mention the mega £2222 guaranteed jackpot.

This is one of my dead faves when it comes to online bingo sites, as it stands out from the crowd with its uniqueness. Not only do they have a delicious bundle of hot online bingo games, but you can find multiplayer games including Dingo and Supergems too, which will drive you to distraction when you compete with your bingo buddies. Elimination Bingo is another one of their great games which is excellent fun - basically playing bingo games backwards! I know it sounds crazy but it’s really great to play.

Game Village also have their unique virtual bingo village to which you’re given access to after you’ve made 3 deposits. You’re given your very own home in the bingo village, which opens up even more of a wealth of great bingo promotions and community fun and games, not to mention the late night house parties!

Game Village bingo also have their very own radio station, Bingo Radio, playing music and hosting competitions for players, karaoke events, you name it, the fun never stops.

GameOn Bingo

GameOn Bingo, a new bingo site has just come to our attention, an offshoot of Littlewoods Bingo, and they’re sporting a nice jazzy look and tons of super bingo promos to go with it.

You’ll find the usual array of bingo game and side games, including progressive slots, instant games and casino games, that you would expect from an online bingo site powered by Globalcom software.

New members also receive the traditional 20 Free Bingo cards offer, which it would be nice if it was updated, but it’s still free bingo, so can’t really complain. There is a nice 150% 1st deposit bonus, plus a 50% reload bonus, so once you’re in and playing you’ll find it exceedingly good value for money.

Online bingo and online slots

Although the focus at my favourite bingo site Bingostreet.com is mainly online bingo, what many bingo fans don’t realise is the sheer wealth of online slots included in their favourite online bingo software programs.

And I not just talking small 3 reel fruit machines, a lot of bingo sites sport a really decent collections of slots, super slots and multiline slots complete with hefty jackpots - good enough to compete with any online casino.

Sands of Fortune hides its splendours deep within the Wink Bingo software, but this is a proper online slot machine that could sit proudly in any online casino. Sporting a dramatic soundtrack that fits perfectly with the exciting and mysterious storyline about the hidden treasures deep in the tombs of ancient Egypt, this online bingo site slot machine pays out dramatically too, with a jackpot to the tune of £100,000.

Normally you’ll find the slot games neatly packed away in the Instant Games or Mini Games sections of online bingo sites, and if you haven’t had the chance to explore these extra slot games that are available to bingo fans, then I urge you to give them a spin!

Talking to Computers

Today I’m engaging in a bit of speculative thinking regards the future of online bingo gameplay. I’m doing this after reading a report on the latest comments by Microsoft founder Bill Gates in which he believes we will see a shift away from using the keyboard to interact with our computers and instead start actually talking to them!

Voice recognition software has been around for a long time but is only now becoming sophisticated enough to really contemplate engaging in actual dialogue with a computer. Combined with touch screen technology, Bill Gates has this to say about his company’s future interest in this area:

“It’s one of the big bets we’re making,” Gates said at a recent talk given at Carnegie Mellon University about Microsoft’s expectations that Internet searches will be handled increasingly via dialogue than through keyboard. Adding comments about researchers’ needs he concluded: “They’re dealing with so much information that … the need for machine learning to figure out what’s going on with that data is absolutely essential.”

So how does this relate to the way we play online bingo games? Simply put, traditional bingo’s excitement was often based on the moment a room full of players heard someone shout “bingo!”. I can see the day that online bingo halls will also reverberate to actual shouts of “BINGO!” by online players and this will bring a whole new and exciting dimension to the online bingo community.

I’m not an expert in the field of voice recognition software or communicative computer programmes, but I do like the sound (no pun intended) of actually shouting bingo the ‘old school’ way. I’m sure such an innovation will see many more current land-based bingo players switch their allegiances to bingo online.

What did I miss!

Ohh, what did I miss!

Sun Bingo are doing themselves and bingo fans all around the UK so proud, with the absolutely mega huge bingo jackpot of £25,000 up for grabs this Friday night!

Wow, to be honest I can’t even start to imagine how I could spend this much money - I think if I won it (I will deffo be playing this game, along with every other online bingo fan in the UK) I would be in shock for perhaps a few days at least!

So if you haven’t already heard about it then listen up:

All you gotta do is clear your timetable for this Friday night, March 27 (that’s tomorrow), and be prepared for the sizzling bingo action that kicks off in Bingo 90 at 9pm. What’s more, the folks at Sun Bingo say that £25,000 is actually the minimum guaranteed pot for this bingo game, and the jackpot will keep on growing until someone wins it Friday night.

Sun Bingo always do a great bingo game for the end of the month, and this one with the huge £25K jackpot is certainly no exception. This is one HUGE online bingo game you simply cannot afford to miss out on. An I did miss... :(

A joke and free keno!

What do you call a lady addicted to gambling?

Betty!

:)))

I just read it on BingoStreet, where I was looking for bingo promotions. I learned that Bingostreet is branching out into the world of online keno games, as it’s one of those games now freely available online and in the same family as bingo and lotto.

As with online bingo, the game of keno is all about the balls. No balls? No keno! You get to pick your choice of numbers from the board, place your bet and then wait for the balls to pop in. The more balls you predict correctly, the more you win. Simple, and great fun too!

This week the guys at Gone Bingo are the sponsors for Bingo Street's Free Keno tournament, and there’s £155 in cash prizes to spend at Gone Bingo! To enter the competition just register for a keno account and start playing. We have time until midnight GMT this Sunday to get into a Top 10 position to win a prize!

I think it’s a great way to try out a new game for free, and also boost my bingo budget at the same time - a great bargain!

Bingo Online History

Throughout the history of the game, bingo has undergone many transformations. Some of these are to do with the structural way in which the game itself is played, but others are more related to its effect on its players. Over the years, bingo has ranged from a carnival attraction to an educational tool, to a fundraising endeavour to online gambling.

Bingo Halls

Bingo halls filled a hole in people’s lives as more and more cinemas and theatres closed after the introduction of television. They gave people an opportunity to meet socially, to have fun and to enjoy the game. Gradually, as the popularity of bingo grew, bingo halls became more sophisticated. They were run solely for the purpose of bingo games. Old homemade-looking ball machines were replaced with newer Random Number Generators and the modern bingo hall was born.

Since the launching of the Internet, the biggest transition in bingo history has been the move from betting halls to online bingo games.

Bingo Online History

Online bingo today is a multi-million pound industry in the UK. Bingo online isn’t the same as playing bingo in a crowded, atmospheric bingo hall, but online bingo sites create a similar sense of community and atmosphere in a number of ways. The most basic of these is the chat function. This allows bingo players to interact socially, as they would have done in a bingo hall.

Bingo online has lots of advantages. Although many still enjoy the bingo hall experience, online bingo gambling is a more convenient form of the game. Whenever and wherever you want to play bingo, you now can! You can also choose the type of bingo game you want to play and personalise your experience.

Bingo online mania first took hold in the United States. Recently, however, the UK has overtaken the US, and presently boasts the fastest growing online bingo market in the world.

Censorship against online gamblers by banks

The Irish Times have reported a form of censorship against online gamblers by banks, who are apparently rejecting mortgage applications if statements show signs of gambling - which includes those of us who like to enjoy the odd fun evening with our bingo buddies playing a few games of online bingo.

Read the full article here in our online bingo news section.

What exactly does this mean for Irish online bingo players, is this a serious threat and something to be worried about?

No Irish bank has yet admitted that this is a full-blown policy, however it does appear to be becoming the rule of thumb according to the IMAF (see bingo news article). Tell-tale signs on your monthly bank statement that lead to an internet bingo site could mean that you might not be able to buy a home - at least with that bank.

In any mortgage application, banks need to determine the applicant’s ability to repay the loan. But why should they be concerned if you enjoy a few games of bingo every now and again. Why has online gambling become such a weighted factor in this process?

With 98% of the gambling population able to gamble responsibly, this surely indicates a responsible approach to life in general too, including the ability to repay debt, ie., bank loans and mortgages.

So if I lived in Ireland and played internet bingo regularly and was thinking of buying a house, I might be worried. On the other hand, how stupid would your bank be to deny you a mortgage just because of your online bingo hobby?!!!

Seriously, I don’t think it’s anything to panic about. To put it into perspective,

This does seem to be a bit OTT, even for Irish banks, but if I lived in Ireland and played internet bingo regularly AND wanted to buy a house I might be worried, but I seriously don’t think this is anything to panic about. So keep playing bingo games online and stuff the banks!

Penny Bingo

Alongside free bingo games, penny bingo games are becoming very popular among online bingo UK fans, and almost every bingo site in town has at least one of these ’so cheap it’s almost free bingo games’ bubbling away on the pot.

There’s something delightful about playing a game of online bingo and spending a penny - ahem, not that kind of penny, you know what I mean!

But seriously, how much better can it get than penny bingo? I can easily afford penny bingo games, they don’t bring a huge deficit to my online bingo budget, and I can play bingo online merrily for hours on end at a time.

WINKBINGO.COM LAUNCHES EXCLUSIVE 'PLAY OFF' BETWEEN NORTH AND SOUTH TO WIN A MINI COOPER

Wink Bingo is proud to announce that for the first time ever, two dedicated bingo fans will decide their own fate by choosing their own lucky numbers to take part in an online bingo 'play off' for a chance to speed off in a brand new Mini Cooper.

People will be able to log on to Winkbingo.com at 8:30pm on Sunday 22nd February to watch the North South divide as Joanna Kane from Werneth, Oldham in Lancashire and Christine Tulley from Toot Hill, Swindon in Wiltshire battle it out for a brand new set of wheels.

Joanna, 36 and mum of two, couldn't believe her luck when she was told she was one of the two joint winners out of 8,000 players who took part in Winkbingo.com's Mini Cooper bingo game on New Year's Day. "I've never won anything in my life," gushed Joanna, "luck just doesn't happen to me, but if I play with my lucky numbers 9 and 11 on Sunday, the day I passed my driving test and my kids' birthdays, I may be proven wrong!"

Joanna originally fell in love with Winkbingo.com last October and hasn't looked back. "Winkbingo.com gives me the perfect opportunity to take a break from work, house-hold chores and the kids," says Joanna, "especially since I can play in the comfort of my own living room. Winkbingo.com's chat hosts are really friendly and their individual games are great fun too, I've even made some great new friends."

Christine Tulley, 51, mum of two and grandma of three had been playing for six months - she was often on a winning streak winning a string of small prizes which really spurred her on to keep playing, so much so that she too became an overjoyed winner out of 8,000 players, in the New Years Day Mini Cooper game. I always believed that magic could happen to me at Winkbingo.com, says Christine, "let's just hope the tarot reader who gave me my lucky numbers, 1,7, 8, 17, 35 and 44 really is for real and I may just get to win the Mini Cooper in Sunday's game!"

Christine has been a fan of online bingo ever since she began working at the local bingo hall where she remained for 15 years. "It's expensive to go to bingo halls now though" says Christine, "and why bother when you can stay at home and have even more fun playing bingo online with Winkbingo.com? It's such a fun and friendly site and really easy to use too. I feel secure with Winkbingo.com and love the fact that I can chat so much to other bingo fans too."

Whether choosing to don their heels and coats to play their favourite game in bingo halls or choosing to relax in their pyjamas and slippers to play online, up until now bingo players have been given a card full of numbers and their chance of shouting "full house" has been left entirely to lady luck.

Maurice Karpes, Marketing Director at Winkbingo.com says, "The fact that we are allowing our two lucky players to choose their own numbers and play a part in their own fate makes our exclusive Mini Cooper game so exciting. We've also created a way for friends and family to watch so that they can offer their support, we're sure other bingo fans will be interested too - may the luckiest player win!"

Play Bingo Online and Earn Money

A great extra way to make money if you’re a fan of online bingo is to take advantage of the many Refer A Friend programmes, or RAF programmes, as they are also known.
Online bingo sites love to reward players for their loyalty in a variety of different ways, one of which is the ‘Refer a Friend’ bingo programme that you’ll find on most, if not all, bingo sites. Other rewards include deposit bonuses, bingo points or Bbz depending on which site you play bingo at, free bingo games, extra bingo promotions, and many other nice surprises. Refer A Friend programmes are just one of the many ways to get more out of your online bingo experience.
The basic principle of these Refer a Friend bingo programmes is the same – via the online bingo site you play at you simply enter the email addresses of friends who might be interested in playing bingo online, and the bingo site will send them a personalised invitation from you.
When your friend registers an account and starts playing for real money, you collect your reward – simple as that! This is the basic principle of being a bingo affiliate, and in fact many bingo affiliates started out exactly like this, by referring one or more of their friends to their fave bingo sites. If you have a lot of friends who are bingo fans, or who are open to new experiences, then you could easily end up earning a nice sum of cash or bingo points each month to more than cover your bingo budget.
One thing I would advise however, is to alert your friends before you submit their email addresses to the bingo site. Although they only promote legitimate and trustworthy sites on Bingostreet, some of your friends might not want you to give out their personal email address. So it’s worth checking with them first.
And finally, if you find that you enjoy referring your friends to your fave bingo site then you might want to consider the next step, which is becoming a bingo affiliate. For more information on how to do this, read about Bingo Affiliates .

Foxy Bingo

The wily Mr Foxy, loveable mascot of popular online bingo site Foxy Bingo, has somehow managed to bag the beautiful Kristina Rihanoff as his partner in his funny dance video to support the Comic Relief charity on Red Nose Day.
Kristina is one of the gorgeous professional dancers featured on Strictly Come Dancing, and the talented lady accepted Foxy’s proposal when he asked her to Do something Funny for Money with him for Red Nose Day.
If you browse to the Foxy Bingo site you’ll see the poor girl is given more than her fair share of the cheeky Foxy antics as she tries to teach him the 70’s disco style dance moves. However all’s fair in love, war and bingo, and they both come out sparkling in the dance video with a great performance.
The aim of the Foxy Bingo Red Nose Day campaign is to raise a massive £150,000 for the Comic Relief charity, who to help disadvantaged people in the UK and also those abroad in Africa.
For the next 6 weeks Foxy Bingo will be holding special bingo games where every £1 you spend on bingo tickets will be matched by the online bingo site and donated to the charity - so keep an eye out for these special bingo games so that you can help Foxy Bingo reach the target.
The special charity bingo campaign culminates in a huge bingo game on March 13, when the jackpot will be an incredible £50,000! Just for one little bingo game - it’s an astounding amount! Be sure to pre-purchase your bingo tickets for this huge event, and remember every £1 you spend will be matched by Foxy for this great cause.
You should also check out the Foxy Dance video at the online bingo site, Foxy Bingo - it’s very funny, and in the end you have to admit that this sly dog of a Fox actually can dance pretty well! Kristina recommends trying out the dance moves at home, says it’s a great way to keep fit!
So that’s at least 3 worthy things accomplished when you play bingo online at Foxy Bingo - help a worthy charity, get fit for the summer, and play bingo too! LOL and GL!!!

Posh Bingo

I just tried posh bingo. It offers 20 free cards and no deposit as it's written on bingo street review, but on the site they offer only 10 free cards. Also there are usual bingo promotions like Happy Hour and great prices on special days. The site sais about itself: "for bingo snobs". The design makes me feel i'm in the 20ies.

This isn't a lucky day, I didn't win anything. I will try it again on a day when I feel more snob than now ;)

About Bingo

Bingo has been around for centuries, and in the UK it is still one of the most popular past times either on the internet or in bingo halls. To help you understand what it is that’s so special about playing bingo we decided to do some research into the fun you can have while you play bingo online.Bingo halls were first created because people needed a place to play bingo. They also wanted to be a part of a community where they could see their friends on a weekly basis or more often. This way they could gossip, share the new things in their life, and just have a great time playing bingo.
The online bingo scene didn’t want to lose this community feel. They decided there needed to be something more than just the ability to play bingo online. This meant that live chat rooms needed to be attached to many of the games for those who want to chat before the game starts as well as during the game.
Friends can still meet up with other friends in the chat room, and it makes it easier for some of the people to stay in touch. With everyone moving around so much online rooms are the best way to keep in touch. The added benefit of playing online bingo makes it even better.
If you are not all about the chat rooms when playing bingo there are definitely other perks that make the game fun. You never know who the winner is going to be. Sure sometimes luck may have the same person win a couple times in that day, but most often it is someone new every time. The fact that you don’t know who the winner is just adds to the fun and anticipation of making the jackpot each time you play.
Besides being able to chat and win money you have the different types of bingo promotions. Playing bingo has become more of a competition for the online sites because there are so many of them. Places have to offer top of the line promotions to keep loyal customers. It also means that their site is going to have a lot to offer in the way of games and ease of use.
If you want to play bingo online there are many things you have to consider when choosing a place to play, but more than that you want to have fun. Bingo has lasted this long because it is a community game with a lucky future.

Play Bingo Online

Ever had one of those evenings when you’re at home, you don’t want to go out, but you’re kinda bored? Easy solution – spend the night playing bingo online and you’ll find it’s pretty cheap too!
Most online bingo sites have special games, with extra cheap tickets especially during the week, so just have a poke around your favourite bingo sites to see what kind of bingo action is on offer, and you can have a great evening of bingo fun and entertainment – and maybe even hit one of those bingo online jackpots!
Wink Bingo is one such bingo site I’d recommend, as it has tons of action on every day of the week, 24 hours non-stop bingo fun, so you can login and play bingo online at anytime. With plenty of daily, weekly and monthly jackpot games, plus a whole load of exciting Slots, casino and Instant Win games, you’ll never have a bored evening again!
Wink Bingo have regular online bingo games with pretty sizeable guaranteed bingo jackpots, starting from £1,000 up to £10,000 monthly bingo games. When the jackpots are guaranteed, this means that one lucky bingo player MUST win the jackpot in that game and will take home the full prize.
These guaranteed jackpot bingo games at Wink Bingo kick off regularly every month on specified dates:
• £10,000 guaranteed jackpot – 10th of every month at 10pm• £5,000 guaranteed jackpot – 30th of every month at 10pm• £3,000 guaranteed jackpot – 20th of every month at 10pm• £2,000 guaranteed jackpot – 5th of every month at 10pm
Tickets for all these great bingo games at Wink Bingo cost just £1 a ticket, and can be pre-purchased which is great, because if you have a hot date you can just pre-buy and your tickets will be played for you automatically in your absence. Usually there is a minimum purchase of 5 tickets for these games, but the great thing about pre-purchasing your bingo tickets is that you can allocate a set bingo budget for the month, to make sure you don’t spend more than you can afford.
So, the next time you’re twiddling your thumbs of an eve not knowing what to do, get on down to Wink Bingo and liven up the night with some hot bingo action!
